St Ives acquires market leading database marketing services company

St Ives has today announced the acquisition of one of the UK’s leading database marketing companies, Occam DM Ltd. The deal will expand St Ives’ offering and extend its already wide range of marketing support and print services into data driven marketing and data insight services.

Based near Bristol, Occam employs eighty people and has a turnover of £8m. Occam Managing Director, James Bagan, comments: “We are extremely pleased to be working with St Ives. The new data services are expected to be widely adopted by St Ives’ customers, specifically at St Ives Direct, where in the commercial print market customers are already targeting direct mail production using data analysis and data management services. These services, allied to personalised print production, specialist design consultancy and e-mail and SMS campaign delivery will increase campaign response rates.
